After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing on the Leh – Srinagar Highway. After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (Known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh) via Khardungla pass. This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. The De Nubra Camp is located near Habib Guest House in Hunder valley, just outside Disket. It provides stunning views of the famous silver sand dunes and Disket Chamba with spectacular sunrises each morning. Cultural shows are held every evening close to the camp site. The tents used at the camp site are well-equipped with modern facilities and a private porch (verandah) to help you relax as you drink in the dramatic landscape. Each tent has a spacious en suite bathroom with running hot and cold water. The camp is run by professionally trained staff who are warm and hospitable to provide you a sense of home in Nubra.
We will start the day following the same route towards Leh till we reach Khalsar. From the Agyam bridge, we will take the left route which leads us to the villages of Shyok and Durbuk. The route is scarcely used for commuting so you will not find any heavy traffic on any day. Some patches are bad but the experience will be great. The road after Shyok is good but very steep. After Durbuk, take left towards Tangtse and follow the traditional route. Drive further to Pangong Lake one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within Chinese Territory and only one third part lies in India. Explore the lake area, might catch some rare wildlife.

After an early breakfast, visit sightseeing places like Shey, Thiksey, and then proceed to Pangong via Changla Pass (17,586 feet) and the third highest pass of the world. Pangong Lake is a salt water body of 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. On a clear sunny day, you can see seven colour formations in the crystal clear salt water lake. Overnight stay in Pangong
